R&B Music Hit Maker Rhianna Forced To Cancel Shows

Yet another sign of economic decline many popular artists are having to drop shows from their tour in an effort to salvage some profit due to dwindling ticket sales.

Beautiful R&B hit maker Rhianna has recently announced that several shows will be dropped from her tour schedule. Though the official release states that this is because of scheduling conflicts, others claim differently. It is more likely that Rhianna has had to drop her shows due to low ticket sales. This speaks nothing of her talent, considering that ticket sales are down in general, thanks to the lingering recession.

Last year was a surprisingly good year for concert ticket sales, this year however, has proven so far to be a different story. Some artists such as Limp Bizkit and Christina Aguilera have decided to drop their tour all together. Other popular acts like the Jonas Brothers, the American Idol tour, and Lilith Fair have greatly cut back on the number of venues that they intended to play. All of this is a result of low ticket sales for the first half of 2010.
