WHITE LIES ANNOUNCE AUGUST 20 FOR NEW ALBUM ‘BIG TV’
First Single ‘There Goes Our Love Again’ Hits Radio June 21
12 June 2013 (Toronto, ON) – British alternative rock trio White Lies return with their third LP, BIG TV, scheduled for an August 20 release via Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading Music Company. Featuring the single ‘There Goes Our Love Again’, BIG TV will be available for digital pre-order as of 25 June. In the meantime, the band has release ‘Getting Even’ as a free download for fans, available here: https://soundcloud.com/whitelies/white-lies-getting-even/s-gkinP. BIG TV, which was recorded earlier this year in Brussels, Belgium, will be available as both a regular CD and a deluxe 2 CD hardback book edition. The deluxe edition features seven original demos of songs from the album, and stills from the studio sessions. It will also be available digitally and on 180gsm vinyl. White Lies released their debut, To Lose My Life in 2009. A U.K. number 1, the album went on to sell one million copies worldwide and win ‘new band of the year’ accolades at both the Mojo & Q Awards. Their second album, Ritual, followed in January 2011 and by the end of that year, they had played a sold-out show at London’s Wembley Arena, headlined a packed tent at the Reading Festival and performed live on both the Late Show with David Letterman and the Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
