BACHMAN-TURNER OVERDRIVE TO RELEASE 40th ANNIVERSARY EDITION OF NOT FRAGILE MARCH 18
BTO To Be Inducted into the Canadian Music Hall OF Fame at the 2014 Juno Awards
(13 February 2014- TORONTO, ON) – Canadian rock legends Bachman-Turner Overdrive will release a remastered, deluxe version of their highest selling album Not Fragile: 40th Anniversary Edition, via Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company. Originally released in 1974, the new release will be made available digitally, on a two CD expanded set and on re-mastered 180 gram vinyl on March 18.
Adding to the celebration, Bachman-Turner Overdrive will be inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame at the 2014 Juno Awards in their hometown of Winnipeg, Manitoba on March 30. The Juno Awards will air live on CTV that evening.
“Not Fragile was when it all came together for us. We captured the album-oriented rock audience as well as the singles audience with that album,” reflects Randy Bachman, “Not Fragile made BTO recognized around the world. That was a milestone album and our crowning achievement.”
Mixed at the iconic Sound City studio in Los Angeles, Not Fragile went on to sell over 3.6 million copies worldwide. “You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet”, a track not intended to make the album, shot to #1 in a dozen countries and Top 10 in a dozen more.
