Shawn Mendes is Seventeen Magazine‘s June/July cover star, where he graces the cover and gets deeply personal in his interview with the magazine.
“I sit there and think, I’m scared — this can go away tomorrow. My dad always says that I’m a tortured soul because I’m never pleased; I never feel like I deserve what I’ve achieved.”
Mendes discusses not allowing his fame to change him, the fears that come with his new found success, partying, and much more. He also tells us what we can expect from his new album, stating “It’s a mix of pop and like a John Mayer-and-Ed Sheeran acoustic feel all in one — my friends and I think John Mayer is this music god who we’ve grown up learning from”.
