Posted on July 28, 2016

In celebration of Osheaga coming up this weekend from July 29th- 31st, we’re shining the spotlight on three of the artists we’re most excited for! The festival is filled with an amazing line up and activities, and we can’t even wait to witness the amazing performances. Here’s a little info on three amazing artists that will be performing at Osheaga this weekend. AURORA Aurora-Osheaga The Norwegian singer and songwriter has made the top of our list of favorite albums of the year, and at such a young age. Her debut album All My Demons Greeting Me As A Friend was released to high acclaim, and proved to be an amazing debut for this rising star. Aurora has already announced that she is working on her second album, and we can’t wait to see what else this angelic artist has in store for us. Make sure to check out Aurora at Osheaga this Saturday July 30th, from 9:00 pm to 9:50 pm.

COEUR DE PIRATE CoeurDePirate-Paper-Crop Photo: Ryan Pfluger It’s more than suiting for Beatrice Martin, aka Coeur De Pirate, to be performing at Osheaga seeing as she is from Montreal. This Canadian singer is known for singing mostly in French, and changed her artist name from Her Pirate Heart to Coeur De Pirate when she completely transitioned over to French music. The artist is known for her beautiful and simplistic, yet emotionally groundbreaking music, and we can’t wait to watch what is sure to be an electrifying performance this weekend. Make sure to catch Coeur De Pirate performing at Osheaga this Saturday July 30th, from 7:15 pm to 8:00 pm.
BASTILLE BASTILLELOWRES (10 of 12)[1] You are sure to have heard of Bastille by now, the English rock band who rose to massive popularity internationally. The band’s debut studio album Bad Blood climbed to number 1 in the UK, and they’re just as loved in North America as well. Their name, Bastille, comes from Bastille Day, which is on July 14th, and also happens to be founder Dan Smith’s birthday. The band has a number of festivals under their belt, including Coachella, so they’ll be no stranger to the energy on stage this weekend. Make sure you catch this amazing band performing at Osheaga this Saturday July 30th, from 6:25 pm to 7:25 pm
