Bishop’s name comes from her parents hometown, Bishopbriggs, Scotland; However, the singer was born in London. After living in Tokyo and Hong Kong during her teens, she moved to L.A. and started getting recognized as a musician. With her name on the tip of tongues everywhere, Bishop recorded her first single, “Wild Horses”–a track so strong, it was featured in an Acura commercial!
The singer scored a hat trick with “The Way I Do”, a favourite among fans. Bishop even went on to open up for Coldplay and perform on Jimmy Fallon!
