The Strumbellas get creative with their video for “We Don’t Know”.
“The video was inspired by the kinds of classic video games we used to play as kids,” band member Jon Hembrey says of the concept. “We wanted a video that was a little more on the fun side, something that lets us laugh at ourselves and has sweet special effects”.
The video seamlessly emulates characters and elements from classic 90’s arcade games like “Street Fighter” and “Mortal Kombat”. Combined with the use of pixelated graphics, this vid definitely bring us back to our simpler days.
We also love watching Simon, Dave, Jon, Isabel, Darryl, and Jer beat the crap outta each other. Can we make Celeb Street Fighter a thing?
