The Arkells have JUST released a new video for “My Heart’s Always Yours.” The latest single off of Morning Report was announced earlier in September & we’re so excited to see a video for it now 🙂
Far from usual, we love this take on a standard love story. We know from the lyrics that this song is about a man is still in love with someone who isn’t ready to love him back. So how did the Arkells manage to paint this picture?
The entire story behind “My Heart’s Always Yours” is illustrated into a super hip art exhibit. Here, our two subjects Man Waiting and Worth The Wait are put on display. As he patiently waits, it’s almost as if time comes to a halt. Could this be a metaphor for the way art halts time? Hmmm.
Colorful scenes softened with a retro filter are sprinkled in between. We just love the aesthetic behind “My Heart’s Always Yours” and seems we’re not the only ones:
