ON TOUR STARTING NEXT MONTH WITH AMY GRANT AND MICHAEL W. SMITH
28 OCTOBER 2016 (Toronto, ON) – With Christmas right around the corner, record-breaking, chart-topping singer and the “best-selling artist in the history of NBC’s The Voice” Jordan Smith releases his first holiday album, TIS THE SEASON digitally today via LightWorkers / Republic Records / Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company. TIS THE SEASON will be available in physical format starting November 11. The album was produced by legendary Grammy Award-winning producer David Foster.
TIS THE SEASON sees Jordan take on 12 Christmas classics with his own stunning style, spirit, and soul. These include standards such as “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”, “Silent Night”, and “O Holy Night” featuring the Grammy and Emmy Award winning The Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Among the albums’ many highlights, “You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch”, is a modern take on the timeless classic, and is Jordan’s personal favorite.
Next month, Jordan joins Amy Grant and Michael W. Smith for their annual Holiday tour. It kicks off November 11 in Los Angeles, CA, and plays through December 18 in major markets across the US and includes one stop in Canada in Abbotsford, BC on November 18.

About Jordan Smith:
Jordan Smith’s debut album, Something Beautiful is available everywhere now. Throughout the album, his undeniable delivery and instantly recognizable range drives both original songs and cover tracks produced by legends such as Grammy Award-winning producer David Foster [Céline Dion, Michael Bublé, Josh Groban] and modern hit-maker Stephan Moccio [The Weeknd, Ellie Goulding, Miley Cyrus].
Something Beautiful debuted at #2 on the Billboard Top 200 and earned the highest ranking on the chart by any winner of a television singing competition in almost five years. It also broke the records for the highest album sales debut from a new artist in 2016 and most first-week album sales for a winner of the Emmy Award-winning show, The Voice.
The 22-year-old from Harlan, KY, Jordan Smith stands out as the highest-selling artist to ever emerge from The Voice. In less than six months, he sold over 1 million singles and made Voice history by landing eight songs in the iTunes Top 10 – the first artist from any season to hit the iTunes Top 10 every single week of the Live Rounds. Of the eight songs that went Top 10 on iTunes, six hit Top 3, and three captured #1 on iTunes, all of which knocked Adele off the top spot.
