JAMES BARKER BAND PREMIERE THE VIDEO FOR THEIR NEW SINGLE “JUST SAYIN’”

Band to open up for both Tim Hicks and Dean Brody on tours in 2017
18 NOVEMBER 2016 (Toronto, ON) – Canadian country group James Barker Band have premiered the video for their second single, “Just Sayin’”, released via Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company, this morning on Rare Country in the U.S and etcanada.com and CMT.CA in Canada. The video, directed by Emma Higgins, features the band in unique costumes, as well as rocking out on stage, and even a cameo from ET Canada’s Rick Campanelli.
Viewers can also check out behind-the-scenes footage and an interview with the band before the broadcast world premiere tonight on ET Canada at 7:30 p.m. ET/ 7 p.m. PT on Global. Then on Saturday, November 19, tune-in to CMT (Canada)’s Chevy Top 20 Countdown with Paul McGuire as he sits down with the foursome for an in-depth conversation about the new single and video.
The band is also slated to open up for Tim Hicks on select dates of his “Shake These Walls” tour in January; and they will hit the road with Dean Brody for his “Beautiful Freakshow” tour starting in April. Full list of dates below.
Ontario-crafted country outfit James Barker Band formed in 2013, and consists of James Barker, Taylor Abram, Bobby Martin, and Connor Stephen. As winners of the 2015 Boots and Hearts Emerging Artist Showcase, they secured an album release with Universal Music Canada and won an all-inclusive trip to Nashville, Tennessee. The band have had a busy year, their first single, “Lawn Chair Lazy”, which was written by band front man, James Barker, along with fellow Canadians Gavin Slate and Travis Wood, became the highest charting debut single ever from a Canadian artist at Country Radio. Their video for the song also spent two weeks at #1 on the CMT Chevy Top 20 Countdown.
