Katy Perry did something quite unique with the release of her new album, Witness. Over the course of three days, she spent her time locked up in a house in Los Angeles – Big Brother style. Although she was not allowed outside, she had several special guests keep her company throughout the weekend and kept viewers entertained with her different activities and segments.
Below, are out top five faveee moments of the weekend:
1. When Katy Let The Dominoes Fall
One aspect of the Witness World Wide was art. That said, Domino Artist Lily Hevesh came through to create a domino reaction revolving around KP’s album release. Not only were we able to catch Lily making the entire display, but we were also shown the final result, when Katy moved one domino, triggering the rest to fall. SOOOO SICKKK. And what was revealed at the end? Guess you’ll have to watch to find out.. 😉
2. James Corden’s Session With Katy
Throughout the weekend, special guest James Corden also came to visit Katy. They played a game in which both James and Katy took turns asking each other questions. The person who the question was asked either had to: answer the question or eat a “gross” item of food (examples include: pickled pig feet, 1,000 year old egg and a tongue). From Katy being asked to rank her lovers in order of preference to James being asked who he’s turned down from Carpool Karaoke, we found this segment to be VERY interesting.
3. Katy’s Reaction To Her Music Videos
During this part, Katy sat down with YouTuber Liza Koshy and reviewed some of her most iconic music videos… “I Kissed A Girl”, “Hot n Cold”, “California Gurls” and more! We found it interesting to get some insight on different scenes, and found out some info that we weren’t aware of! Watch below:
4. How Katy Was Woken Up Every Morning
Although we were able to watch Katy sleep, the best part of that was seeing her WAKE UP! But no no no, she did not wake up on her own, nor with a normal alarm. Instead, fans took to Katy’s Twitter to vote for the way they wanted to see this pop star wake up! See what options won below:
5. Katy’s Finale Concert
To end her weekend-long live stream, Katy took the stage, where she performed for several hundred fans – from new tracks off of her album to older classics, she gave her fans an hour long show to enjoy! Watch below:
