These Are The Reasons We Can’t Wait For Osheaga

Posted on August 01, 2017

Okay, okay so there’s festival after festival, we know. BUT, this year’s Osheaga promises to be one unlike years past. I mean, have you seen who’s performing? YOOOOOOOOOOO. 👌

Here are the reasons why we can’t wait to travel to good ‘ol Montreal for the weekend and have some fun 😎

1. Its Location

We mentioned that this festival takes place in Montreal. More specifically, it takes place in a really big park area which leaves plentyyy of room for tons of activities (including watching the performances #duh). We love this city and can’t wait to spend an entire weekend there! ❤️️

2. The Activities

Yep, we’ve said it. Though of course, the best part of the festival is the music, we’re totally down to take part in some of the other cool activities that will be going on throughout the three days of the festival’s duration. From the wifi chill zone, to the GIF photobooths, to getting body decals and SO MUCH MORE. Yo these sponsors are getting more and more creative as the years go by and we are lovinggggg it. 🙌 I mean, seriously, just LOOK at what was going on last year…

3. The Lineup

Heck yeahhhhh. This year’s lineup is DOPE AF. The Weeknd will be performing, along with Lorde and Tove Lo. Did we mention Arkells and 6LACK will also be taking the stage along with Maggie Rogers and Phantogram?! One word: LITTT. 🔥 There’s also a TON of other performers that we can’t wait to see take the stage! See the full lineup here!

4. The Arts

We mean, it is called the music and ARTS festival. Every year, along with its insane musical lineup, Osheaga invites artists to show off their artistic talents and bring a whole other dimension to the festival. Check out a clip of what was going on last year:

Looks DOPE.

5. REAL Montreal Poutine

Because as much as we try to convince ourselves that we’ll find it elsewhere, nothing ever compares to the poutine you’ll eat in Quebec. 😍
