Are you sulking? We know, we know, as the end of summer approaches, we become more and more bummed 😌 But HEY, on the bright side, we’ve still got a few weeks left – right? So, no sadness allowed yet. We’ve got to make the most of our last few weeks of the season! Here’s five things you really need to do, before summer calls it quits.
1. Go camping
Have you been in the woods yet this summer? If not, you should totally try to take even one night to experience camping. Whether you go with a loved one, family, and/or friends, you’re sure to have a good time and get in tune with nature. Plus, limited cell phone reception can be a good way to help you de-stress and not stress about what’s going on in your day-to-day life.
2. Take a day trip to the beach
Real, or man made, get yourself to a beach one of these fine days while you still can, before the air gets crisp. Your feet in the sand, body in the water, then lounging on a beach chair…ahhhh those are the days 😎 Writing this makes us want to leave work and head over to a beach, stat!!!
3. Host a BBQ
Gather your friends, your family, your neighbours, your coworkers and host a MASSIVE barbecue. Okay, okay, your invite list maybe doesn’t have to be that long but tbh, what’s better than soaking up the sun with a burger in hand, chatting with your loved ones while dope music blasts in the background? #Nothing lol 👌 We’ll even make it easier for you with providing the perfect playlist to blast 😎
4. Catch some fireworks
Ahhhh some good ‘ol fireworks. Grab blankets and/or some chairs, and plant yourself right where you’ll have a good view of the fireworks shooting up into the sky. TBH, we love going to watch these with our friends at night when the sun goes down and it gets a lil chilly.
5. Go to a drive-in movie theater
HOW MUCH FUN IS THIS? Prop open the trunk of your car and take a seat. It’s such a unique viewing experience that we’re sure you’ll love…this is for sure the perfect summer date as well, just saying! 😍
