Why Shawn Mendes Won The VMAs

On Sunday August 27th, 2017, all eyes were on one man and one man alone. Shawn Mendes. Taking the MTV VMAs stage to perform his track “There’s Nothing Holdin Me Back,” Shawn did not hold back from making his performance a major highlight of the entire evening. Not to mention the entire #MendesArmy was swooning through the whole thing. Just look at this side gaze to camera.

Mendes didn’t only steal the show on stage, but also on the pre-show carpet! Mendes looked stunning on the carpet, dressed to the nines in his Armani suit. In our humble opinion, he easily won best dressed, but we are a little biased. Just look at this man.
