In case you missed it, Taylor Swift made a triumphant return to the music scene, premiering her brand new music video for “Look What You Made Me Do” at the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards. Uploading her video to the appropriate sites shortly after, the music video has now amassed over 50 million views and counting. According to a press release issued by Vevo, the track was well on its way to surpassing 30mil views within its first 24 hours. The record previously held for most video views in its first 24 hours was Adele’s “Hello.” Billboard reports that Adele’s music video had reached 27.7 million views after the first day of being released. This is quite a feat for Taylor and we couldn’t be more proud.
