Even Sam Smith was impressed.
Demi Lovato has some serious vocal skills. She could sing the alphabet and it would still sound heavenly. The “Tell Me You Love Me” singer proved once again that her vocals are on point when she performed at the MTV EMAs this weekend. So when she showed up at the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge to perform a couple songs, we knew they would be incredible.

To begin, Demi performed gave a powerful and emotional version of her song “Skyscraper”. Then Demi decided to cover Sam Smith’s hit “Too Good At Goodbyes” and it was unreal. Demi Lovato and Sam Smith. What more could we ask for? A future collab. Make it happen, please!

Her cover was so good that it caught the attention of Sam himself. To add to the excitement, Sam Smith reached out to Demi on Twitter to let her know how impressed he was. The pair’s exchange was just adorable:
