Get out a pen and paper because this is your ultimate holiday bucket list. Although we can all agree that most of us are destined to be couch potatoes for the majority of the holiday season, there are a ton of other festive activities that you don’t want to miss out on.
Let’s check off 10/10 on this list by the time New Year’s rolls around.
Decorate the house
Get into the holiday spirit by going all out with the decorations. Whatever holiday you celebrate at this time of year, the decorations are sure to help you feel as festive as possible.
Make some baked goods
Grab yourself a family recipe, (or just Google something) and make a ton of baked goods. Holidays are definitely for eating, so enjoy it before the New Year’s resolutions kick in.
Go ice skating
It’s tradition! Once the cold weather arrives, ice skating is the place to be. Don’t know how to? Maybe this is the year to learn.
Make peppermint hot chocolate
What’s better than to cozy up by the fireplace and enjoy a cup of homemade peppermint hot chocolate. Sounds like our kind of night. And of course, don’t forget the marshmallows.
Binge watch classic holiday movies
Classic. Spend your holidays on the couch, with a bowl of popcorn and binge watch some of your fave holiday movies.
Go Shopping
‘Tis the season for spending! With all the discounts that happen during the holiday season, there’s no point to try to resist the sales. Head over to your local malls to hit up your fave stores. Prefer to shop online? That works too.
Visit light installations in your city
The city is beautiful at night, especially with the lights all lit up. Have a light installation in your city? Grab your camera, and get yourself some insta-worthy photos!
Jam to your holiday playlist
Are you the one person who LOVES holiday music? Now’s the time for you to put the playlist on blast. Get all of your friends and families involved.
Visit any holiday markets in your city
Get into the holiday spirit by attending a holiday market that’s in your city. Walk around, eat some food, drink some hot cocoa, and enjoy yourself.
Lastly, RELAX.
The ultimate number one on your holiday bucket list should be able to relax and have a chill time off with your family and friends.
