5 New Year’s Resolutions You Can ACTUALLY Keep

Posted on December 13, 2017

Start 2018 off the right way.

New Year’s resolutions are always a little tricky to both make and keep. Every year we say we’re going to accomplish something and two weeks in, it’s game over.

Well, not this year!

We’ve got five KEY New Year’s resolutions that you can totally maintain for the entire year of 2018. It’s not about making drastic life changing decisions, small changes that add up are just as effective.

Check it out:

Broaden your music taste.

This should be an easy one! Broaden your musical taste. What if you end up finding songs that you love? That’s the beauty of music. With all the different genres, there is bound to be a genre you typically don’t gravitate towards.

Travel more.

We aren’t necessarily talking about dishing out your life savings to go on the trip of a lifetime. Be a tourist in your own city! Have you ever spent the time to hit up different areas of your hometown that you’ve never seen before? Take a little drive with your friends and make it into an overnight trip with an Airbnb stay! Remember, it’s about the memories you make, not the distance you go!

Start working out.

Now this doesn’t mean you need to be pumping iron every damn day. If this has always been a resolution of yours then take baby steps. If you have the option of taking the stairs instead of hitting the elevator, then take the stairs. It’s the little things that count!

Save money.

Everyone wants to save some money after the holiday season. With all the shopping and presents bought, it’s time to give your wallet a break. Again, baby steps y’all. Eat out less and cook homemade meals for yourself.

Relax more.

THIS. The holidays are meant for relaxation, but let’s be honest, we’re usually running around like headless chickens instead of chilling on the couch. Make yourself a priority for 2018.
