The Things We Really, Really Want From The Drake & Migos Tour

Posted on May 15, 2018

Aubrey & The Three Amigos hit the road

If you’re anything like us, you can’t get enough of Drake and Migos. So if you’re in the same boat, we’ve got some great news for you: they’re going on tour. Together. The “Walk It, Talk It” collaborators are set to hit the road for the Aubrey & The Three Amigos this summer starting in Salt Lake City on July 26th.

Naturally, since the announcement was made our minds have been busy coming up with all of the potential things that could happen on this tour as well as the things we really, really, really want. So here they are:

New tracks from Scorpion

The release date for the Drake’s fifth studio album, Scorpion is June 28th and we are so excited to hear what he’s been working on. If “God’s Plan” and “Nice for What” are any indication it’s going to be a an absolute banger.

Live performances of “Walk It Talk It”

The music video for “Walk It Talk It” was released in March, and it delivered some seriously unexpected retro vibes. Think Soul Train. However, the rapper and the trio have not yet performed the song together live. We NEED to see this happen and in full costume, please.

Tracks from Culture II

Migos released their third studio album in January. It featured amazing collaborations from artists like Nicki Minaj, 2Chainz, Post Malone, and – of course – Drake. We’re so excited to hear these tracks on tour.

Potential Guests

On his 2017 Boy Meets World tour, Drake brought out Nicki Minaj. Though it’s difficult to guess who he might bring out on the Aubrey & The Three Amigos tour without knowing for certain who features on Scorpion, Drake has a pretty extensive friend group. Any of the artists Migos collaborated with on Culture II could also be making a surprise appearance on the North American tour. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

So there you have it. The countdown to July 26th begins. Until then, we’ll just listen to “Walk It, Talk It” on repeat.
