From duets, to wins, to must-see moments!
Did you manage to catch the BBMAs on Sunday? If not, never fear. We’ve got all the highlights! Here’s a quick recap of what went down at this years awards show.
Demi Lovato performed her brand new anthem “Fall In Line” with Christina Aguilera and we didn’t know we needed this collaboration, but we’re so glad we got it. Everyone knows these two are powerful singers on their own, but together? Incredible. Watch it below!
Taylor turned up to the awards show in a gorgeous Versace dress that was giving us major Speak Now era vibes. Anyone else?
Not only did she look phenomenal, Taylor took home the award for Top Female Artist and Top Selling Album! In her empowering acceptance speeches, she thanked her female tour mates as well as her fans. Watch her accept Top Female Artist below!
Shawn Mendes performed “In My Blood” and as per usual, he totally delivered. There are also some great clips of Taylor Swift dancing along from the audience, which is pretty cute. The two performed together recently at the Rose Bowl in Los Angeles as part of Taylor’s Reputation tour, so it was no surprise to see her jamming out.
For his second performance of the night, Shawn – joined by Khalid – paid tribute to victims of gun violence with an emotional rendition of his song “Youth”. The performance featured the Marjory Stoneman Douglas choir. Watch that performance here.
The award for Top 200 Billboard Artist went to Drake. Following the release of hits like “Diplomatic Immunity”, “Nice For What”, and “God’s Plan” we’re so pumped for the release of his upcoming album Scorpion in June.
BTS had a great night at the BBMAs. They took photos with everyone from Taylor Swift to Tyra Banks, rocked the red carpet, and took home the award for Top Social Artist! Watch their acceptance speech!
The group also performed a debut of new song “Fake Love”. It was the first performance at the BBMAs by a Korean artist, and featured some incredible choreography. Watch that performance below.
