Shawn Mendes, Taylor Swift, Sam Smith…
BBC just had their annual Biggest Weekend, this year in Swansea, Wales and it looked like so much fun! The crowd enjoyed a stacked lineup, with artists such as Sam Smith, Demi Lovato and Taylor Swift headlining the festival.
Since we’re recovering from major FOMO, here are some of the best and biggest moments from BBC’s Biggest Weekend 2018.
Florence + The Machine
The band played their new single “Hunger” on the weekend and it was magical. We’d like to know how Florence can run and dance around on the stage like that and still deliver a flawless vocal performance.
Sam Smith
Sam Smith performed his hit “Too Good at Goodbyes” and honestly, we’re still loving this song almost a year after it was first released.
James Bay
James Bay performed the gorgeous ballad “Us” off of his new album Electric Lights.
Shawn Mendes
And speaking of James Bay, he also came out during Shawn Mendes’ set and sang “Mercy” and “Let It Go”. These two sound great on their own, but even better together. Their harmonies totally won over the crowd, and got us hoping there’ll be a future collaboration between these two.
Shawn also performed his hit “In My Blood”, and joined Thirty Seconds to Mars on stage for a rendition of the band’s song “Rescue Me”. Watch both below!
Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift took a break from her Reputation tour to stop by and perform a set that included “Gorgeous” and closed with the crowd-pleasing “Shake it Off”.
Demi Lovato
Demi Lovato gave a killer performance of her empowering anthem “Sorry Not Sorry”, and joined Jax Jones and Stefflon Don on stage to perform “Instruction”.
