The 5 Netflix Shows You Need To Binge Before Summer Ends

Posted on August 16, 2018

It’s time to Netflix & chill cause it’s HOT AF outside.

With summer winding down (this is the most painful sentence to write), we’ve come up with a list of 5 binge-worthy shows you need to check out before school rolls around and you have to get back to all that homework you’ve been so excited for. Jk, but for reals, you should check out these shows! They’re SO GOOD.

1. Nailed It!

This fun new cooking show takes three amateur home bakers and puts them to the challenge of re-creating edible masterpieces. The end product might not be what was expected, but that’s all part of the fun! It’s just good to know you’re not alone out there when it comes to good cooking skills.

2. Queer Eye

Get ready to meet Antoni, Tan, Karamo, Bobby and Jonathan. These fab five are giving more than just makeovers. They’re changing the way people think and we’re so here for it.

Womens wrestling. Alison Brie. What more could you want? This Netflix original centers around Ruth Wilder, a struggling actress, who auditions along with many other women in a fledgling professional wrestling promotion called the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling (GLOW). We’ll let you find out the rest.

4. Orange Is The New Black

It’s 2018. By this time, we would hope that you’ve seen at least one episode of OITNB, and we’re hopeful that you’re all caught up because the sixth season just dropped in July. If you’re still under a rock, it’s time to get to work people. OITNB is here to give you one of the best casts on Netflix and an adventure you won’t forget.

5. 13 Reasons Why

The show that brought the conversation of bullying, depression, and sexual assault to the forefront of pop culture is back for a second season and it’s just as eye-opening as the first. This Selena Gomez produced show dives back into the story of Hannah Baker and Clay Jensen and we can’t stop talking about it. Definitely a must watch. Not to mention, the soundtrack is perfection.
