It’s no secret that Shawn Mendes is a fan of the 1975.

From interacting with frontman Matt Healy on Twitter earlier in the year to adding their song ‘Sincerity Is Scary’ to his preshow setlist. The two singers have even exchanged underwear (it’s not what you’re thinking).

As a huge fan of the English band, Shawn wouldn’t pass up the opportunity to see them live. The 1975 performed in Toronto at the Budweiser Stage on June 3, 2019.

It didn’t take long for people to notice that Shawn Mendes was amongst them in the crowd. His presence at the concert quickly caught the attention of his attending fans.

If it wasn’t evident from the fan videos catching Shawn having a blast, he let us know himself! Shawn posted both on his IG and Twitter letting us all know how much of a great concert we missed.

The love that Shawn has for the 1975 is real as he even revealed that his latest single ‘If I Can’t Have You‘ was musically inspired by the band’s sound.

Everybody say: THANK YOU 1975!
