‘Fan Account of the Month’ (#FAOTM) is a fan-appreciation series on Umusic!
At Umusic, we acknowledge and value the efforts of fans from around the world. The passion, dedication, and love fans have for their favourite artists is something the team at Umusic has admired for a long while. For this reason, Umusic has decided to feature a fan account every month. This will give our Umusic community the opportunity to learn about different fandoms, their hardworking members, and more about the artists!
Fan account: A social media account created by a fan dedicated to a particular piece of pop culture. This series will focus on fan accounts dedicated to artists.
Update account: A fan-run social media source for fan accounts. An update account serves as the main source of updates on a specific artist. An update account will gather all media, promotional items, and information on an artist and share the information with other fans. Think of update accounts as a constantly updated Wikipedia for fans. This series will also focus on update accounts, which are simply larger fan accounts.

November’s fan account of the month features a Post Malone fan account: @humbleposty! The account is run by a fan of Post from Sweden who listened to Stoney and hasn’t stopped supporting the global rockstar since. This fan specializes in all things Post, supporting his career and providing fans with the ultimate Posty image gallery.
The team at Umusic asked this Swedish Post Malone fan questions pertaining to Post, his newly released album: Hollywood’s Bleeding, and fan culture. Below are a collection of his answers:
Why are you a fan of Post?
There are many reasons, but the biggest are his personality and his music. When I discovered his music he had just released ‘rockstar‘ – I loved the song and thought to check out his other music.
I listened to Stoney from start to finish and on my first listen and I knew directly that this was the best album I had heard ever. After that, I had the album on replay! I wanted to know how Post was as a person so I searched for interviews and found a podcast with Ethan Klein. I watched the entire video, as well as other interviews, and I absolutely loved his personality.
I recognized that he was really humble and very comedic too. He seemed, and still does seem, like a person you could chat with for hours without growing bored. He is one of the biggest artists in the world but he acts like he doesn’t have fame – he’s kind to everyone.
Has Post interacted with your account?
Sadly no, I’m dreaming of the day it happens. I’ve been noticed by some of his team but not by Posty yet. I’m hoping it happens some time soon.
Have you ever met Post?
I haven’t met him, but I have given him a high-five! I was at one of his shows in Sweden and I got the chance to high five him. After his shows, he usually comes to the crowd and let his fans high five him. It was a really amazing experience.
What are your thoughts on Post’s genre-bending?
That’s a big reason as to why I’m a fan of his! It’s a reflection of his talent. He has said multiple times that he’s just trying to make the music that he likes and that shows in his music. He has so many different sounds so you can’t put his music in a box of one genre and I love that.
Your Instagram is the ultimate Post Malone gallery. Do you have a favourite photo of Post?
It’s a picture of him dressing up as a knight in armour. I’ve had this picture saved for a long time because it showcases his nerdy side. He loves games like Fallout and Skyrim and watches Lord of The Rings, just like me. It’s what I can relate to him with!
Do you have a favourite Post moment?
His Grammys performance. The GRAMMY Awards are the most iconic and renowned music event and he got to perform.
Post got to showcase his talent and versatility to the music world when he performed ‘Stay’ (an acoustic song) and then performed ‘rockstar’ (a hip-hop song).
He finished his performance by bringing out the legendary Red Hot Chili Peppers to perform ‘Dark Necessities’ (a rock song). I’ve watched the performance countless times, it’s amazing.
Do you have a favourite Post collaboration?
My favourite Post collab is with 21 Savage on their track ‘rockstar’. No one expected the two to work on a track together, but it turned out well. Both of them had amazing verses and their voices fit perfectly with each other. It’s Post’s most popular song and the third most streamed song on Spotify of all time.
What makes Post different from other artists in the world right now?
His humility and how down-to-Earth he is. I named my fan account “humbleposty” because of it. Whenever I watch an interview with Posty and then look at the comments, I always see people discussing how humble he is.
His music is different, of course. As I mentioned earlier, I listened to the whole Stoney album in one go and I loved it immediately because of how different it was. You’ll never hear another song like ‘Broken Whiskey Glass’ or ‘Feeling Whitney’.
If you could say one thing to Post, what would you say?
Thank you for all of your amazing music that has helped me through a lot in life. Whatever mood I’m in, there’s always a song by you to soundtrack it. Hopefully I’ll meet you one day. Keep being humble and awesome!
