Limbo by Aminé

via Amine

5x platinum certified artist Aminé’s dropped his second full-length album, Limbo. The Portland-proud rapper, artist, director, and culture shaker drops this album backed by 50 million streams generated on some tracks so far.

To kick off the record, the voice of friend and writer/comedian Jak Knight, introduces “Burden” by saying, “This is some shit you go and pick your homie up from jail with,” as hypnotic harmonies and live guitar fuel throwback East Coast-style bars rife with clever lines and vivid storytelling. Everything culminates on the finale “My Reality” where heavenly choir and strings collide in one last soulful strut.

“My Ex’s Best Friend” by Machine Gun Kelly

via MGK

Two days after releasing his song “concert for aliens”, Machine Gun Kelly doubles up and releases his guitar-tinged track “my ex’s best friend” featuring singer/songwriter/producer blackbear.

MGK and blackbear gloomily ruminate about a messy entanglement with their exes’ closest confidant. Instead of wallowing in depression, the Ohio titan finds solace in his ex-lover’s best friend to rediscover love. “my ex’s best friend” continues MGK’s summer reign in the music space, as he readies his fifth studio album, Tickets to my Downfall. The album is set to be released on September 25th and is executive produced by rock luminary Travis Barker.
