How has this week treated you, music lovers? We still have a bit of (welcomed) hangover from last Friday’s releases, but that’s not going to stop us from sharing great new music with you!
Emanuel – Black Woman

Emanuel is an artist that just hits differently. He creates beautiful music not for himself, but for others to use and express themselves with it. “Black Woman”, his latest song, is a hymn to the figure of the Black woman and her role in society, and why her figure should be empowered, protected, cherished and acknowledged as a driving force now more than ever in these current times.

Greta Van Fleet – My Way, Soon

The wait is over, Greta Van Fleet is back with their latest release, “My Way, Soon”. The Grammy winning rock band is releasing new music after more than a year, bringing both a single and a music video inspired by their life on tour and musical evolution for the past three years. And the best is for sure yet to come!

Trippie Redd – Sleepy Hollow

It is definitely October, and Trippie Redd is getting in the right mood before everyone else, just a few weeks before “Pegasus” drops. “Sleepy Hollow”, a track that takes its name from the tale of the Headless Horseman written by Washington Irving, is already galloping towards all Halloween playlists this year.

Brothers Osborne – Skeletons

More people getting in the Halloween spirit around here apparently, but we can say that Brothers Osborne started the trend last week already. Following the release of last week’s single “Dead Man’s Curve”, the long-awaited “Skeletons” is finally here. If you’re a Country fan you will love this album and if you’re not, give it a try! It’s totally worth it!

Celeste – Hear My Voice

Not al voices are equal, in fact all of them are unique. One voice in particular is rising above the rest, and she can rest assured because it is being heard. UK soul singer Celeste, the Brit Award Rising Star of 2020 and the number one breakthrough act of the 2020 BBC Music Sound List, released this week her new song “Hear My Voice”, which appears on the soundtrack for the upcoming Netflix movie The Trial of the Chicago 7. The movie is scheduled for October 16th and we’re not missing it. We’ve already been listening to the song for hours to get ready for the treat!

Alexander 23 – Brainstorm

“Brainstorm” adds itself to the collection of releases Alexander 23 put out this year, which has been quite a busy one for the singer/songwriter. According to the artist, this song can help you when it gets hard to explain how you feel, but be warned since side effects include (but may not be limited to) crying, tears and sobbing. But if you can take all that, your ears will thank you!

Bea Miller – wisdom teeth

Bea Miller, host of many talents among which we find singing, songwriting, acting and even co-directing one of her own music videos , is back with her latest single “wisdom teeth”. Bea has been releasing great music for these last months, and this song is no exception.

Lil Wayne – NFL (feat. Gudda Gudda & HoodyBaby)

Lil Wayne is always surrounding himself with good company and “NFL” is no exception. The Hip-hop legend is joined by Gudda Gudda and HoodyBaby in order to add another track to his massive 2020. “NFL” is a reminder of how much we missed sports (and live music!) this year, so let’s appreciate what we have while we can. Beginning with this new amazing song!

YUNGBLUD – cotton candy

YUNGBLUD is back! The British talent just released “cotton candy”, following up to “god save me, but don’t drown me out” and “weird!” among others earlier this year. As always this song is a great example of the artist’s many talents and why we love his own vision of Alt Rock. We are getting so close to “Weird!”, the album, that the wait is going to be really hard.
