‘Fan Account of the Month’ (#FAOTM) is a fan-appreciation series on UMUSIC!
At UMUSIC, we acknowledge and value the efforts of fans from around the world. The passion, dedication and love fans have for their favourite artists is something the team at UMUSIC has admired for a long time. For this reason, UMUSIC has decided to feature a fan account every month. This will give our UMUSIC community the opportunity to learn about different fandoms, their hardworking members and more about the artists!
Fan account: A social media account created by a fan dedicated to a particular piece of pop culture. This series will focus on fan accounts dedicated to artists.
Update account: A fan-run social media source for fan accounts. An update account serves as the main source of updates on a specific artist. An update account will gather all media, promotional items, and information on an artist and share the information with other fans. Think of update accounts as a constantly updated Wikipedia for fans. This series will also focus on update accounts, which are simply larger fan accounts.

September’s fan account of the month features the LILHUDDY fan account, @huddypost, that has been updating fans on all things LILHUDDY since 2020. Based out of Saudi Arabia, meet the account’s administrator, Nate, who’s been part of the Huddy Gang since 2019! From posting all the best pictures, videos and GIFS to important highlights, you’ll never miss a thing – Nate makes sure of it!
The team at UMUSIC interviewed Nate about what makes them love LILHUDDY, their favourite tracks, moments and much more! Below is a collection of their answers…
Why are you a fan of LILHUDDY?
I can talk about this all day long; he’s the most precious kid I have ever seen and I have become attached to him ever since I started following him. Seeing him jump from here to there and thriving in everything he does is so satisfying to me. I’m so proud of him.
Also, the way he makes me feel is different – he can change my whole mood in a second, and his music helps me a lot. I can relate to almost every song he has ever released and I’ll continue to support him until the day I die. One of my favourite things about being a fan is talking to people about his success and how much he has grown, matured and learned from his mistakes.
What makes LILHUDDY so unique?
His style. The way he dresses is so cool and I’m so glad that people are noticing this. He’s always doing the most and he’s always the fanciest person in the room – he even got an award from the TikTok community called “Best Style Male.” You can’t compare anyone’s style to his; everyone has their own style but I don’t think anything compares to the clothes he wears. He is the best and he was born to be a model, period.
What about LILHUDDY resonates with you?
I don’t know him on a personal level, but I felt him throughout my hard teenage years. He became my comfort zone. When I hear his lyrics, I see myself too. It’s so amazing that I can relate to my idol and his songs. You know that feeling when you KNOW the other person in the room knows exactly what you mean? Yeah.
How would you describe LILHUDDY’s fandom?
HOME. It’s all love and positivity here. We’re all here for one reason: to support Chase. There’s a lot of young and smart people in this fandom. I love and appreciate every single one of them. I love how positive the LILHUDDY fandom is. They care about you, they’re adorable stans, and the way they help each other is even better. Here’s a little message from some of the people in the LILHUDDY Fandom…
(@yveshuddy1): “Cheesy to say but it’s just a big family. Everyone is loving and hard working beyond measure, and the power we possess is truly insane when we all are united to support Chase.”
(@mendesofmyself2): “I would describe us as passionate and proud. Many of us have been through a lot with Chase, so I feel like because of that, we are very passionate with the things he does. We are watching him chase his dreams of becoming a musician and we are a very proud fandom.”
(@RMHUDS0N): “Unity is the core of our fandom. We achieve each goal set for us and always do it bigger and better. We all love each other and are always there for each other and Chase no matter what.”
When and how did you first discover LILHUDDY? What was the first song you heard?
I discovered Chase way before he started making music. He popped up in my TikTok FYP at the start of December 2019 and I said to myself, “hmm…who is this cool guy?” After two months of knowing him, he did an interview with ET and he said, “A year from now I’m getting into the music space, it’s all private at the moment, it’s in the works.” And look at him now; having an album out, called ‘Teenage Heartbreak.’ I will never forget the release day of “21st Century Vampire.” I remember I didn’t sleep that night; I was excited to listen to his first debut single, and literally nothing can explain what I felt that day.
What is your favourite track off LILHUDDY’s debut album, ’Teenage Heartbreak’?
I can’t decide between “Headlock” and “Lost Without You” because for me, they describe a very special relationship that I had. It’s like two perspectives; the other person and myself. When I hear “Headlock,” I Immediately remember him. “I don’t want to leave but it kills me to stay” gets me every time. The way I understand the song is like being left heart broken and you’re scared that they will break it once again. “Lost Without You” describes me; the desperate person who’s lost, doesn’t know what to do and realizes his mistakes – he feels so bad and it haunts him every night. I Love every piece of this album <3
How would you describe his debut and the ’Teenage Heartbreak’ era? What do you think is next?
I feel like this first era will always hold a special place in my heart. In 5-10 years when people say, “I wish I was there during the Teenage Heartbreak era,” I will say, “I was there for him and he said the album will change lives and shock the world, and he did not lie.” Being there with him when he announced the first single and then announcing an album coming in the summer felt like a dream. What do I think is next? Definitely the Teenage Heartbreak Tour – I just wanna see him perform and have fun with the audience. I’m 100% sure he will be selling out shows everywhere, and maybe a little single before the tour? Who knows, he’s crazy 🙂
Who would you like to see LILHUDDY collaborate with in the future?
He doesn’t need to collaborate with anyone; he’s so good on his own, but I would love to hear LILHUDDY and Lesane. They both are rockstars, in the same genre and I want to see them burning the studio together. They would make a hit if they ever collaborated. Mark my words.
Do you own any LILHUDDY merch? If not, is there anything you want to get?
Yes I do! I own the “21st Century Vampire” crewneck, and I don’t know if the digital single counts as merch, but I did buy it. I’m planning to buy even more!!!
What would you say to LILHUDDY if you got to meet him?
First of all, I’d probably start crying, but I know someday I’ll meet him. I don’t know where and how but I feel it in my heart. I wouldn’t be able to describe my feelings for him, and I know every person in this fandom can’t either. I want to have a conversation with him, and I need him to give me some advice on situations in my life. Also, I really want to know how he has 296 unreleased songs and the album only has 11 tracks. I would give everything in my life and my power to meet him. I love you, Chase. You’re so important to me <3
