

23 JANUARY 2026 (TORONTO, ON) — Legendary Canadian band Glass Tiger is celebrating the 40th anniversary of their groundbreaking debut album, The Thin Red Line — a record that helped define the sound of Canadian pop-rock and launched the band onto the international stage.
Released in 1986, The Thin Red Line went quadruple platinum in Canada and gold in the United States, contributing to the band’s more than 5 million albums sold worldwide. The album produced two of Glass Tiger’s most enduring hits: “Don’t Forget Me (When I’m Gone)”, which reached #1 in Canada and #2 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, and “Someday”, which also climbed into the U.S. Top 10.
