TWENTYTHREE SHARES DEBUT MIXTAPE 6IX POP, OUT NOW

26 JUNE 2026 (TORONTO, ON) – Iranian-born, Toronto-based artist / producer and founder of the Greezy Gang collective, twentythree has just released his debut mixtape, 6ix Pop. Across 9 tracks, twentythree aims to redefine the quintessential Toronto sound, as referenced in the title of the project. Masterfully mixing and matching the dark and moody sounds historically associated with the region, twentythree combines this with internet-era jerk rap production, after-party ready tempos, and a distinct sense of sonic anemoia. This release arrives following a long run of singles, including the viral “Queen Street” (32M+ Streams), “6ix God” (1M+ Streams), “Bite Me” (4M+ Streams), and “Trust Nobody” (4.5M+ Streams), as well as a recent Drake co-sign, a performance alongside Fakemink at his Toronto show, and a sold-out headlining show at the legendary Mod Club in Toronto. Before this, twentythree gained notoriety for his affiliation with DMV rap producer supergroup Too Many Strikers and production credits for Destroy Lonely, OsamaSon, Babyface Ray, Dragnutz, and more.

ABOUT TWENTYTHREE:
twentythree is a Toronto-based Iranian-Canadian artist, multi-instrumentalist, and producer whose music merges elements of pop, electronic, rap, and alternative. At just five years old, twentythree embraced music and never let go after discovering 50 Cent’s Get Rich or Die Tryin’. He devoured as many genres as possible, listening to Rihanna and Justin Bieber as well as Alice In Chains, Nirvana, and Metallica. The underground rave scene in Toronto opened up his palette even further. During 2019, he downloaded FL Studio and taught himself how to craft beats. He initially made waves behind the scenes, producing tracks for Destroy Lonely, OsamaSon, and Soulja Boy before an epiphany in 2024 inspired him to commit to becoming a solo artist. Choosing the name twentythree as a reference to his birthday, February 23, he began building momentum with singles like “LOVE LIFE”, “Gotta Be Patient”, and “2 PILLS”, stepping into the spotlight as a solo artist in 2024, buzzing off of these releases before “Queen St” represented a major breakthrough. Accompanied by a self-edited music video, it exploded with 26 Million Spotify streams and 252K YouTube views. His sound mirrors his native Toronto, tracing a trajectory through the city, from the highs of its penthouses down to the dust and dirt of its warehouses.
