“SINGLE AGAIN” NOW 3X PLATINUM-CERTIFIED IN CANADA AND BECOMES GOLD-CERTIFIED IN THE U.S.

29 JUNE 2026 (TORONTO, ON) – Today, Universal Music Canada / MCA / CORE Records global country force artist Josh Ross has earned his second consecutive No. 1 at U.S. Country Radio as “Hate How You Look reached the top of the Mediabase/Country Aircheck Chart and Billboard Country Airplay charts this week.

With the achievement, Ross becomes the first solo Canadian male artist in more than 50 years to earn back-to-back U.S. Country Radio No. 1 singles, a feat not accomplished since country music legend Hank Snow.

Ross shares, “I still can’t believe I get to do this. Seeing ‘Hate How You Look’ follow ‘Single Again’ to No. 1 is something I’ll never forget. Huge thanks to country radio, the fans, my team, and everyone who’s supported these songs since the beginning. It means more than you know.”

Written by Nicholas Sainato, Chris McKenna, Jessica Farren and Christian Yancey, the Platinum-certified, “Hate How You Look” quickly emerged as a fan favourite upon release. Today’s milestone follows the success of Ross’ breakthrough hit “Single Again,” which earned his first U.S. Country Radio No. 1 and has since been RIAA certified Gold in the United States and newly 3x Platinum-certified in Canada. Together, the two chart-toppers have helped propel the Canada-born, Nashville-based artist into a new chapter of his career.

The chart achievement follows a standout year for Ross, highlighted by acclaimed performances at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium and a sold out headline tour across Canada. With more than one billion global career streams, four Canadian Country Radio No. 1s, newly 3x Platinum-certification for “Singe Again”, a Platinum-certified single with “Hate How You Look”, a JUNO Award for Country Album of the Year and back-to-back CCMA Entertainer of the Year honours, Ross continues to build momentum on both sides of the border.

Currently on the road across North America, Ross continues to connect with fans while building on the momentum of another career-defining milestone.
