24 JULY 2026 (TORONTO, ON) — Shania Twain has spent more than three decades as one of the most successful and influential artists in music history, becoming the top-selling female country-pop artist of all time with more than 100 million albums sold worldwide, five GRAMMY Awards, and a legacy defined by groundbreaking albums and timeless hits. Yet with her seventh studio album, Little Miss Twain, she returns to the beginning. Out today via Republic Records, the deeply personal album traces the experiences, sounds, and memories that shaped the artist before the world knew her name. The record invites fans into the story behind the legend, revisiting Shania’s childhood and teenage years growing up in Canada and the musical influences that helped define her singular sound. Across 15 tracks, Little Miss Twain captures the moments that inspired her lifelong relationship with music, seamlessly blending country, pop, rock, soul, and bluegrass while revealing the woman behind one of the most groundbreaking careers in popular music. Even in a career defined by a free-spirited energy and a rejection of genre conventions, Little Miss Twain, stands apart as Shania’s most eclectic and autobiographical album to date. ”It’s such a full circle experience for me mentally and emotionally,” she says. “The stories come from a time in my life where so many styles of music were influencing me and shaping how I hear music. The title track captures a defining moment in Shania’s journey, as she recalls her mother believing she would become the next Tanya Tucker, a dream made even more poignant by Tucker herself joining Shania on the track. The album also features an extraordinary lineup of collaborators, including Josh Homme of Queens Of The Stone Age, The War And Treaty, T Bone Burnett, Ronnie Wood, Ray Parker Jr., and Toto’s David Paich.
Last night, Shania celebrated the release of Little Miss Twain with a surprise performance at New York City’s Racket NYC. The show offered fans a rare opportunity to experience Shania in an intimate setting reminiscent of where her legendary career began. The exclusive performance featured songs from Little Miss Twain, alongside the chart-topping hits and fan favorites that have defined Shania’s groundbreaking career.
