18 AUGUST 2026 (TORONTO, ON) – Following the release of “Twiggy,” and ahead of this Thursday’s release of “Bottle,” Remi Wolf today announces her third studio album, Mud, arriving October 9 via Island Records. Across eleven songs, Mud expands on the world introduced by the lead single, refining Wolf’s boundless musical imagination into a collection of songs that are warmer, more spacious, and deeply human without sacrificing the adventurous spirit that has always defined her work.

The album emerged from a period of reflection after years spent in constant motion. After an uninterrupted run of touring, writing, and recording, Wolf found herself questioning not only what she wanted to say, but how she wanted to make music. Early sessions in Nashville before the album found its spiritual center during a retreat to Big Bear with longtime collaborator Jared Solomon and a small circle of trusted friends including Jack DeMeo, Jamie McLaughlin, and Gigi Grombacher. Days were spent writing songs, making family dinners, and passing microphones across the kitchen while ideas unfolded naturally, evolving into what Wolf affectionately describes as a “family band.”

That spirit carried through every stage of Mud. The group reunited for sessions at Electric Lady Studios in New York before gathering one final time in Joshua Tree to finish the record. Leaning into live instrumentation and recording together in the same room, they prioritized spontaneity over perfection. Wolf often took her place behind the drum kit herself, while melodies and lyrics were given space to evolve naturally. The result is an earthy, lived-in sound rooted in melody, storytelling, and performances that feel unmistakably alive.

Speaking about the album, Wolf shares, “I feel like I’ve crossed into a new phase of life because of this album.  I literally felt like I was covered in shit. And now, at the end of the album process, I feel so clean and clear. It has been a very cleansing record to make for me.”

That sense of clarity arrives at a pivotal moment in Wolf’s career. Following acclaimed albums Juno and Big Ideas, she has established herself as one of contemporary pop’s most singular voices, earning a devoted global following through her fearless songwriting, electrifying live performances, and unmistakable artistic vision. She has appeared at festivals including Coachella, Lollapalooza, and Bonnaroo while touring alongside Paramore, Lorde and Olivia Rodrigo. Earlier this year, Wolf also made her on-screen debut in Amazon Prime Video’s hit series Off Campus, which features multiple songs from her catalog and a cameo appearance by Wolf in the premiere episode. Wolf has been championed and celebrated by many, from performing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to publications such as Rolling Stone, NPR, Pitchfork, Variety, PAPER, Nylon, Billboard, The New York Times, and more.

With Mud, Wolf enters a new creative chapter rooted in collaboration, instinct, and songwriting that trusts itself. Rather than chasing bigger ideas, she embraces simplicity, proving that leaving space can be just as powerful as filling it.
