28 AUGUST 2026 (TORONTO, ON)Kuzi Cee settles into his sweet spot on “Ember (Remind Me),” a warm, nostalgic R&B release that pairs effortless melody with the emotional openness that has become central to his sound. Sultry and intimate, the track captures the push and pull of desire, attraction, and wanting to hear exactly what keeps someone coming back for more.

Released via Universal Music Canada, “Ember (Remind Me)” finds Kuzi completely caught in the heat of the moment. Built around the refrain “girl, can you remind me who I am,” the track plays with ego and the rush of being wanted by someone who knows exactly what to say. The single arrives alongside a new visualizer, out today.

When I hear this record, I think about the fire and desire that a strong woman brings,” says Kuzi. “It’s about wanting reassurance, wanting her to remind me that I’m that guy and everything she loves about me. At its heart, the song is really about that feeling: ‘Tell me it’s mine.’”

The single arrives as Kuzi continues a breakout year, following the success of “Rather Be,” which reached #16 at Canadian Top 40 radio and helped introduce his romantic take on R&B to a growing audience. Recently named to Rolling Stone Canada’s Future of Music list, “Ember” builds on the emotional immediacy that made “Rather Be” connect, while revealing a more mature side of Kuzi’s artistry.

Produced by Isaiah Tejada and mixed by Grammy Award-winning engineer Teezio, “Ember (Remind Me)” draws inspiration from early-2000s R&B while keeping Kuzi’s vocal performance front and centre. Recorded in Los Angeles, the track nods to the era that shaped Kuzi’s earliest musical influences while remaining firmly rooted in his own perspective.

Romance remains at the centre of Kuzi Cee’s R&B world. From longing and vulnerability to lust and desire, the Zimbabwe-born, Calgary-based artist embraces every side of modern relationships, building a catalogue for listeners who still want to feel everything.
