DARIUS RUCKER DECLARES “I BELIEVE”WITH NEW SONG OUT NOW

09 SEPTEMBER 2026 (TORONTO, ON) – Three-time GRAMMY Award winner and multi-Diamond certified superstar Darius Rucker returns today, Sept. 9, with eagerly-awaited song “I Believe out now via MCA, marking his first new music since his acclaimed 2023 album Carolyn’s Boy. Listen HERE.

Written by Rucker alongside Eric Paslay, Wayne Hector and producer Steve Robson, “I Believe” is a deeply personal yet universally relatable song about holding onto hope, love and truth when the world feels uncertain. Built around a message of perseverance and faith in what carries us through difficult moments, the song serves as a reminder that even in the darkest seasons, there is always a path toward the light.

“I call it my love letter to America,” he reflected during a recent appearance on “The Dan Patrick Show,” where he performed an acoustic preview of the song. “The way the world is, where we are right now – I believe in us.”

When all the lies you’re hearing
        Are louder than the truth
You’re scared to take a chance
Because you’re too afraid to lose
When everything you’re feeling’s just a different shade of blue
Don’t give up, give up on you

        ‘Cause I believe in love
        I believe in truth
        I believe that hope’s a place
        You’ll always come back to
        I believe in light
‘Cause I have seen the proof
And I believe that darkness is the place we battle through

“I think we all have moments when we wonder if things are ever going to get better,” Rucker says. “For me, this song is about remembering what you believe in when everything around you makes that hard. I believe in love. I believe in truth. I believe there’s always hope, and I believe in the people listening to this song. Sometimes you just need that reminder to keep going.”
