11 SEPTEMBER 2026 (TORONTO, ON) — Today, Argentinian band TRÍADA announce their debut album Exuvia, out October 28th via Verve Records / Mercury Records. Named after “exuviae,” the scientific process of an animal shedding its old skin, the album marks a new chapter for the band as they continue to find their voice and grow into their sound. Comprised ofDiamela Spina (percussion, vocals), Aylen Reynoso (guitar) and Julia Percowicz (vocals), TRÍADA is writing Argentine folklore on songs that draw from poetry, friendship, and classical Latin instruments. Alongside the announcement, the trio presents their latest single, “Clara,” a percussive tale about an older, solitary woman named Clara who slowly opens herself back up to life.

Produced by Didi Gutman (Brazilian Girls, Nathy Peluso), Exuvia was composed over the course of three days, at a cabin by the river. They recorded, took beach breaks in Villa Gessel, and stepped outside of their musical comfort zone, enlisting additional vocalists to round out their harmonies on “Clara.”
“We had so much fun recording this song. It was the first time we invited other musicians to join us for the backing vocals,” the band says. “We’re incredibly excited to share the first tastes of TRÍADA’s original music and start this new chapter leading up to the album.”
Their new single arrives on the heels of their recently announced performances in Buenos Aires, taking place across the city in early September and October. TRÍADA will also be performing at the London Jazz Festival on November 18th in support of Charlotte Dos Santos and November 19th with a solo set.
Last month, the band shared their interpretation of Spanish rapper C. Tangana’s raw, unrequited love song, “Un Veneno.” On their version, TRÍADA swaps bolero rhythms for an upbeat tease with violins, a bandoneón, and a concertina synonymous with Argentine tango. Poisoned by love, “Un Veneno” captures the pain of giving someone everything, only to get nothing in return.
More like sisters than bandmates, the Buenos Aires-based trio first took shape at their performing arts high school. The girls filmed singing videos after class, recording covers of Bossa Nova classics like João Gilberto’s “O Pato,” which garnered over 2 million views. Eventually, “O Pato” became their first proper release, solidifying their far-reaching sound and global audience.
The trio’s name, TRÍADA, references the musical term for three notes that make a single chord, as the three girls morph into a sonic sisterhood. Formed in 2023, TRÍADA quickly captured the attention of the underground music scene with their bold fusion of genres, intricate compositions, and emotive soundscapes.
Their debut EP De Versiones y Almaearned praise from SPIN, HOLA!, and Remezclafor their rising talent, as the band is “undoubtedly connected by heart, soul, and passion for music.” De Versiones y Alma offered listeners a chance to step into their jam session, enveloped in their comforting vocals and sisterly sound. Through their romantic covers, TRÍADA transformed songs from around the world with a fresh Argentine flair.
