10 JULY 2026 (TORONTO, ON) – Today, marking their 7-month birthday, Britain’s brand-new boyband December 10 have released their debut EP, On Your Side, which is released via EMI Records and available on cassette, CD and limited-edition vinyl and to stream on all platforms now.
“We are blown away that our EP On Your Side – is coming out. We have just toured the songs live across Europe and were buzzin’ to see so many singing along. Really hope people love these records as much as we do. This was is for our fans – we will all be on their side.” – December 10
The focus track from December 10’s On Your Side EP is “Us Against The World”, which interpolates Cutting Crew’s classic “(I Just) Died in Your Arms”. The accompanying visualiser, filmed in spring this year during the band’s rehearsals for their performance at Capital FM’s Summertime Ball at Wembley Stadium, will be available to watch from 8am BST today.
December 10’s release of their debut EP, On Your Side, arrives hot on the heels of the band wrapping up the European leg of their upcoming headline tour, December 10: The Next Step, which arrives in the UK today, Friday 10 July in Edinburgh and wraps up on 21 July in Dublin (see full list of dates below).
Produced by Julian Bunetta (Gracie Abrams, Sabrina Carpenter, Teddy Swims), Poo Bear (DJ Khaled, Justin Bieber, Usher) and Savan Kotecha (Ariana Grande, Katy Perry, The Weeknd), December 10’s On Your Side was recorded across L.A., London, Nashville and Stockholm. The EP features brand-new songs “On Your Side”, “Us Against The World” and “What Are We Now”, alongside the recently released single “Infinity (123)” and stripped-back versions of “Angel” and “Run My Way”.
December 10 – Cruz (20), Danny (17), Hendrik (20), John (17), Josh (17), Nicolas (17) and Seán (19) – formed on camera during Netflix’s docuseries Simon Cowell: The Next Act (released worldwide on 10December 2025), and have quickly built a devoted fanbase through their live shows and social media presence since signing to EMI Records. Six months on from their reveal on the global series, the hugely fun and charismatic septet have already packed more into their career to date than many acts manage in years.
With just three singles released, December 10 have already amassed over 30 million streams, 22.9 million YouTube views and 3.7 million social media followers. They’ve also entered the Top 10 Official best-selling vinyl singles of 2026 so far, sold out their Introducing! run of UK and Ireland dates in February within minutes – with extra shows added twice in response to demand – and performed a sold-out O2 Priority show at O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire, where demand exceeded capacity fourfold. Internationally, they made their festival debut at Ultra Teens Fest Japan, performing to a 12,000+ crowd, and have since been added to the bill for Summer Sonic Festival in Japan and Reading & Leeds Festival in the UK.
As their rapidly growing fanbase continues to spread across the UK, Europe and beyond, December 10 have already attracted attention from major global brands. In May this year, the band teamed up with Primark for an exclusive merchandise collection, with the collaboration marking a full-circle moment for band member Seán Hayden, who previously worked at Penneys (as Primark is known in his native Ireland). Earlier this year, their debut single “Run My Way” featured in Toyota’s pan-European campaign for the New Aygo X, with the brand also partnering with the group on their first run of live shows.
December 10 are not just brilliant singers, but accomplished musicians too, playing 14 instruments between them: Nicolas plays guitar and harmonica; Danny plays guitar; Josh plays guitar, cajón and drums; Hendrik plays guitar, bass and piano; Seán plays guitar, piano and harmonica; while John was due to take Grade 8 clarinet and piano this year – until life got a bit busy.
December 10 is very much a boyband for our times: a truly inclusive group representing Chorley, Rochester, Dublin, London, Lisbon and Walsall, with Irish, Brazilian, Indian, Nigerian and Jamaican heritage between them. Their musical influences are just as expansive – from Fela Kuti, Daft Punk, Brent Faiyaz and Steve Lacy to Pearl Jam, Freddie Mercury, The Notorious B.I.G., Catfish and the Bottlemen, Sabrina Carpenter, Usher alongside Brazilian icons like Legião Urbana and Cazuza.
Fun, high-energy and utterly endearing, December 10 are rapidly carving out their place among Britain’s most talked-about new pop bands.
