31 JULY 2026 (TORONTO, ON) — Fresh off of her debut performance at Lollapalooza, breakout British singer, songwriter, and actress Asha Banks returns with her captivating new single, “Biggest Fan,” available now via Island Records—listen HERE.
Arriving amid a landmark year that has established Banks as one of pop’s most exciting new multi-hyphenate talents, “Biggest Fan” showcases her gift for pairing cinematic storytelling with intimate, emotionally charged songwriting. Co-written by Asha and her frequent collaborator Josh Bruce Williams, and produced by Williams alongside Myles Avery [Tate McRae, The Kid LAROI], the song features razor-sharp lyricism over an intimate pop soundscape, as Banks creates an anthem about self-awareness and reclaiming agency. “Biggest Fan” continues Asha’s knack for emotional honesty that has resonated with fans across her recent releases, while introducing a new chapter in her artistry.
On the song, Asha shares, “This song feels so deeply me, but in a way I haven’t done before, so it’s very exciting to be starting this new chapter of music with it! ‘Biggest Fan’ is about the realization that a person you love only loves you in relation to how you make them feel about themself. It’s a brutally honest acceptance of a dynamic that you never intended. I’m so excited to play this song live on tour later this year and at festivals this summer!”
Last month, Banks dropped her single “Come Down,” which she co-wrote alongside Josh Bruce Williams, Carrie K [Noah Kahan], and Annika Bennett [Chappell Roan, Role Model, Conan Gray]. The catchy track is featured in the end credits of Prime Video’s recent hit Your Fault: London, also starring Asha. Beginning this September, Banks is set to embark on her biggest headline tour to date—“something inbetween tour”—her first-ever nationwide North American headline run, which will see Alfie Jukes as support. 2026 has been a remarkable year of momentum for Banks, who recently surpassed one million monthly listeners on Spotify for the first time in her career. Earlier this spring, Asha released her single “Too Busy Missing You,” which earned her a career high streaming peak and is featured on the soundtrack for Prime Video’s critically acclaimed series Off Campus. In addition, she dropped her collaborative EP Everything Is About You with Novo Amor and Lowswimmer.
