21 AUGUST 2026 (TORONTO, ON) – After months of building a world entirely his own, TyriqueOrDie today releases This Feels Electric via Universal Music Canada. Bringing together the sounds, themes and creative vision introduced across “Chanel,” “6IXSIDE” and “Get Some,” the six-track EP cements him as one of Canada’s only artists operating at the intersection of rap, electronic music and alternative culture.
From the relentless energy of “Get Some” to the commanding performance on focus track “Outside Is Nice,” This Feels Electric refuses to settle into a single lane. Each record showcases a different side of TyriqueOrDie’s artistry, revealing a performer equally at home over hard-hitting electronic production as he is delivering some of his sharpest lyricism to date.
“This Feels Electric follows me into the Funhouse, where I fall in love with the women, the partying and everything that comes with it. At first, it feels like paradise, but eventually I realize it isn’t what it seems,” says TyriqueOrDie.

In the weeks surrounding the release of This Feels Electric, TyriqueOrDie has continued to blur the line between performance and experience, celebrating the project through a hometown release party, a surprise appearance during Lotion Magazine’s DJ Assault event, a UHAUL pop-up rave in Toronto’s Parkdale neighbourhood, and a stand-out performance at Neon Graveyard in Montréal. TyriqueOrDie is a Toronto-based artist and performer emerging from the city’s underground rave circuit. Raised in Galloway, a housing project in Scarborough, his foundation in hip hop collided with the energy of Toronto’s warehouse and DIY party scene, where he went on to co-found Toronto Hardcore, a community-driven movement helping shape a new wave of experimental nightlife in the city.
