11 SEPTEMBER 2026 (TORONTO, ON) — Breakout British singer, songwriter, and actress Asha Banks returns today with her captivating new single, ‘Anything But,’ available now via Polydor Label Group —listen HERE.
Offering another glimpse into Banks’ soon-to-be-announced new project, ‘Anything But’ finds Asha confronting the painful space between knowing when a relationship has run its course and finally saying it out loud. Co-written by Asha alongside Bülow and Sammy Witte, the track transforms an intensely personal realization into strikingly immediate pop songwriting.
Asha shares, “I’m really proud of this song and feel like it really represents both me as an artist and the upcoming project as a whole. ‘Anything But’ is about that moment in a relationship where it’s time for the other person to speak the truth – say it how it is, even though neither of you really wants to hear or admit it’s over. It’s also the acceptance of the part I’ve played in that ongoing denial. Ultimately, we’re both as bad as each other in this respect.”

‘Anything But’ follows Asha’s recent singles, ‘Biggest Fan’ and ‘Come Down,’ with the latter featured in the end credits of Prime Video’s Your Fault: London, in which Asha also stars, with its official music video directed by the film’s acclaimed directing duo Charlotte Fassler and Dani Girdwood.
Following breakout sets at festivals like Lollapalooza, Boardmasters and Victorious this summer, Asha Banks begins her biggest headline tour to date, the “something inbetween tour,” later this month. The tour marks her first-ever nationwide North American headline run with Alfie Jukes as support, having completed a sold-out series of UK/European dates including a London show at The Roundhouse this spring. Similarly overwhelming fan demand for the US shows prompted additional shows and venue upgrades, with dates in Philadelphia, New York, Washington, D.C., Montreal, Toronto and West Hollywood already sold out. 2026 has marked a breakout year for Asha Banks, who recently surpassed one million monthly listeners on Spotify for the first time in her career. Earlier this spring, Asha released her single ‘Too Busy Missing You,’ which earned her a career high streaming peak and is featured on the soundtrack for Prime Video’s critically acclaimed series Off Campus. In addition, she dropped her collaborative EP Everything Is About You with Novo Amor and Lowswimmer. Last year, she unveiled her sophomore EP How Real Was It?, earning praise from the likes of NOTION, HUNGER, DORK, and Variety, who named her among its 2026 “Power Of Young Hollywood” list.
