18 SEPTEMBER 2026 (TORONTO, ON) – Sofia Camara announces her new EP, Still Somewhere Here, arriving October 9, alongside the euphoric new single “Hallucinating,” out now. Bright, playful and instantly infectious, “Hallucinating” captures the dizzying rush of realizing that someone you thought was completely out of reach might actually feel the same way.
On “Hallucinating,” Sofia steps outside her own perspective, writing from the point of view of someone who once felt invisible to her. The song captures the surreal realization that the person you thought would never notice you may have seen you all along.
Across six tracks, Still Somewhere Here finds Sofia revisiting the people, memories and versions of herself that have remained with her long after those chapters have closed. Where her earlier work often came from a place of anger and hurt, the new EP lives in the quieter space between healing, nostalgia and acceptance. Moving through love, heartbreak, accountability and self-forgiveness, the project explores how our understanding of the past can change with time, even when the memories themselves remain. Through the songs, Sofia hopes listeners can recognize something of their own experiences reflected back at them.
“There was a lot of anger in Hard to Love, and I think this EP is more about what comes after that,” says Sofia. “You can be healed from what happened and still think about it. You don’t have to pack every memory away perfectly to move forward. Sometimes you can look back, feel nostalgic and still be at peace with where you are now.”
Still Somewhere Here arrives after a landmark summer for Sofia, with performances at All Things Go, Rock in Rio Lisboa, Pinkpop, Montreux Jazz Festival and Lollapalooza Berlin, alongside a sold-out support show with Bastille at Cardiff Castle. The EP marks the next chapter in a year that has seen Sofia bring her music to major stages across North America and Europe.
