FOLLOWS KIARI DELUXE ALBUM

18 SEPTEMBER 2026 (TORONTO, ON) — Today, GRAMMY® Award-nominated, multi-platinum superstar Offset slides back into the spotlight with “Something I Need.” Out now via Motown Records, the new single is a sleek come-on dripping with style and confidence that finds the Atlanta icon blending cold bars and sticky melodies. Listen HERE.
Produced by Southside, Smatt Sertified, and Jester Beats, “Something I Need” is minimal but driving. A soulful voice echoes through the ether as Offset sets a scene. He looks back at his roots while celebrating his present, laying down flex after luxurious flex. Even amid the jet-set lifestyle, he injects emotion into the moment. The cinematic video filmed in Miami is directed by MikeyRare and SheShe Pendleton. It finds Offset partying on a Yacht. Watch HERE.
“Something I Need” opens up a new era for Offset following a massive 2025 in which he dropped his introspective album and its deluxe version KIARI Deluxe, which included a BNYX®️ mix of the smash single “Bodies” featuring J.I.D. and sampling Drowning Pool (watch all four artists perform the song on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon). The deluxe version also arrived alongside a slew of artfully directed videos for KIARI’s songs, including Gunna collab “Different Species,” “Back in That Mode” with YFN Lucci, “Favorite Girl” featuring Ty Dolla $ign, “Run It Up” featuring Key Glock, and “Pills,” Offset’s powerful, Nina Simone-sampling team-up with NBA YoungBoy. Those and others joined previously released clips for singles “Never Let Go” with John Legend and “Professional.”
With Offset’s birth name as its title, KIARI finds him more vulnerable than ever, reflecting on his journey over immersive production. As Rolling Stone wrote in their four-star review, “KIARI underscores Offset’s critical gifts, tapping into his chutzpah while demonstrating even more growth.” VIBE noted, “It is every side of the Atlanta rapper that fans grew to love over the last decade, and a sign that he is as fortified as ever by himself.” Meanwhile, HotNewHipHop added, “The album balances raw storytelling with polished hooks, showcasing his growth as an artist determined to carve out a lasting solo legacy beyond Migos.”

ABOUT OFFSET:
It should be hard for a rap legend to grow more legendary, but Offset makes it look easy. After helping define 2010s trap music with somersaulting triplet flows, addictive lingo, and indelible anthems, the GRAMMY®-nominated, multi-platinum superstar born Kiari Cephus has continued penetrating the worlds of rap, fashion, and pop culture, flaunting a rare combination of inborn showmanship, impeccable taste, verbal aggressive, and disarming sincerity. With the mighty Migos catalog under his belt, he began his solo journey with the deeply personal, Gold-certified Father of Four (2019). He leveled up again with 2023’s Set It Off before expanding his vision with KIARI — a self-titled album that thrillingly walks the crossroads between block-boy instinct and grown-man wisdom over production fit for arenas. He previewed the project with “Bodies,” a J.I.D-assisted scorcher that returned Offset to the Billboard Hot 100 and earned praise from fans and critics alike. Alongside major collaborations including his Diamond-certified Tyga team-up “Taste,” Offset has amassed more than 2 billion solo streams in the U.S. alone. He’s also left his mark on fashion runways (Balenciaga, Jeremy Scott) and film/TV (Atlanta, NCIS, Baby Shark’s Big Movie). On the horizon Offset gears up to release more new music.
