09 OCTOBER 2026 (TORONTO, ON) — Today, global pop artist, songwriter and creative force Troye Sivan releases his fourth studio album, She’s the Best, alongside new single “FF”.
Where single “She’s the Best” explores the feminine and the women and femme people who have shaped Sivan’s life, “Party” captures the euphoria and freedom of nightlife, “FF” turns inward, giving voice to the loneliness and longing that sits beneath the album’s bigger moments.
Written and produced with Jack Antonoff, George Daniel, Cirkut, Madison Love, Leland and Jasper Harris, “FF” is an unabashed love song about wanting someone who isn’t here yet. Sivan imagines a future relationship with a man he has yet to meet, turning the uncertainty and loneliness of waiting into something euphoric.

The track builds towards its most direct declaration: “Me and my baby are fucking forever, gone are the days of waiting for pleasure, concrete and steel, like some real architecture.”
The accompanying video, directed by longtime collaborator Gordon von Steiner, was filmed on Fire Island and unfolds as a cinematic, hazy portrait of intimacy and desire.
Moving between Fire Island’s beaches, interiors and intimate moments between Sivan and the man at the centre of the song, the film brings the world of “FF” to life. The result is languid and dreamlike, capturing the song’s sense of anticipation and the feeling of being completely wrapped up in someone you haven’t met yet.
Fire Island, and in particular its neighbouring communities of Cherry Grove and the Fire Island Pines, has long been an important gathering place for LGBTQ+ community, with a history rooted in queer freedom, creativity and self-expression. Against that backdrop, the video explores lustful rapture, connection and the thrill of possibility.
“FF” arrives alongside Sivan’s fourth studio album, She’s the Best, a record that moves between the euphoria of the past few years and the solitude and introspection that existed beneath it.
Describing the album as a “painting” of his life “in all of its moods and colours”, Sivan says the record explores the high-octane highs of the past few years alongside the solitude and longing that sat underneath them. “There is this high-octane side to the album that feels really bombastic, and then there are the songs that feel like the interior of my mind,” he says.

Following the global success and touring cycle of Something to Give Each Other, Sivan found himself returning to empty hotel rooms and confronting a very different side of life on the road. He describes She’s The Best as an “almost uncomfortably true picture” of that period, moving between euphoria and isolation, desire and introspection.
The album also marks a new chapter creatively for Sivan. Taking on a producer role for the first time, he recorded much of the album’s vocals from his home office, returning to the freedom he remembers from making music in his bedroom as a kid. “I wanted to make something that – and I don’t mean this in a cocky way – only I could make,” he says. “People are smart, and I wanted to make something genuinely interesting and complicated.”
She’s the Best follows Sivan’s critically acclaimed third studio album, Something to Give Each Other, which debuted in the Top 5 on the Billboard 200 and at No. 1 on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic Albums chart, accumulating more than 2.2 billion global streams. The era produced career-defining singles including “Rush,” “One of Your Girls” and “Got Me Started”, before culminating in the culture-shifting SWEAT Tour alongside longtime friend and collaborator Charli xcx.
