About Chappell Roan

Constantly elevating expectations of pop stardom with bold hooks, larger-than-life performances, and unabashed honesty, Chappell Roan is “your favorite artist’s favorite artist.” With her string of Billboard top 5 hits including “Pink Pony Club”, “Hot to Go,” “Good Luck Babe!”, “The Giver”, and “The Subway”, the LA-based GRAMMY-winning singer, songwriter, and performer has cemented herself as an icon who turns heart-baring storytelling into sing-along anthems. Known for her onstage “drag persona” inspired by club kids, 80s punk, and burlesque, she constantly tops her own fantastical stagecraft and highly theatrical costumes. Her 2023 debut LP, The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess, saw six songs chart on the Hot 100, establishing Chappell as a breakthrough singer-songwriter whose technicolor pop palette captured the imperfect journey of falling in queer love for the first time while sparking a “femininomenon” of trailblazing advocacy for artists and marginalized communities. That same spirit of community and visibility has extended far beyond the music itself. In 2025, she launched her non-profit initiative, The Midwest Princess Project, which supports organizations providing resources for trans youth and uplifting LGBTQ+ communities. With each new release, Chappell stakes out a singular perspective in pop—one that challenges the status quo, celebrates queer expression and, above all, is about being true to yourself. This approach on “The Subway” helped her clinch her highest-charting single yet, debuting at No. 1 in the UK and No. 3 in the US, and earned her two more GRAMMY nominations following her 2025 Best New Artist win. Chappell Roan isn’t just a pop star—she’s proof that survival can be spectacular, that self-expression can be armor and a call to action, and that there’s real power in dancing in your own skin, fully and without apology, in a style that is entirely your own.
