SET TO MAKE HER GRAND OLE OPRY DEBUT ON NOVEMBER 21
23 OCTOBER 2026 (TORONTO, ON) – Rising country music star, Kalsey Kulyk shares her holiday original song, “Christmas Cowboy” today out via Universal Music Canada. “Christmas is my favorite time of year,” exclaims Kalsey and shares about the track, “I’ve written a few Christmas songs over the years but this song felt so fun to me that I had to record and release it. I had the title ‘Christmas Cowboy’ in my phone with the chorus melody for a while and I walked in a writers room with two of my friends this March and said ‘we’re writing this today!’ They looked at me and smiled and we had so much fun with it! I hope this one gives you all the good Christmas feels like it does me!”

The festive release arrives just ahead of a career milestone for Kulyk: her Grand Ole Opry debut on November 21, following a surprise video invitation from country music trailblazer Lainey Wilson. Kulyk and Wilson previously collaborated on the 2018 single “Dreamcatcher.” The invitation came last month during Kulyk’s performance with Patricia Conroy at the official CCMAs Legends Showcase. In her invitation, Wilson praised Kulyk’s talent: “You have one of the most beautiful voices that I have ever heard to this day. I cannot think of anyone more deserving.”

The holiday song follows a year of releases, most recently the melancholic “Your Side of the Bar” and the uplifting bluegrass track “The Brave.” A fan favourite, “Little Boy,” arrived just ahead of Mother’s Day with a moving lyric video featuring Kulyk’s personal home-video archive. The emotional ballad struck a chord with parents online, building organic momentum and inspiring a wave of social media posts reflecting on childhood’s fleeting nature and treasured family moments.
In March 2026, Kulyk released her empowering new EP, Her Rodeo featuring the standout track “Cut Him Loose”. The song continues to propel Kulyk as a country powerhouse in the making with a mix of rollicking guitar riffs, a rhythmic drum beat and her signature standout vocals and lyricism.

Kalsey Kulyk has enjoyed a lifelong passion for music.
