(14 June 2013 – Toronto, ON) – Robin Thicke has announced that his highly-anticipated sixth studio album, Blurred Lines, is set for a July 30 release via Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company. The album’s first single (also the title track) has already achieved double-Platinum status in Canada, with over 200,000 singles sold to-date. The single is currently the #1 song on the Canadian SoundScan Digital Songs chart (for the fourth consecutive week) and holds the status of highest one-week sales total for a single in 2013. “Blurred Lines” remains Top 10 at CHR radio and Top 15 at Hot AC in Canada, and is currently the #1 Audience Gainer at Canadian radio. The single has also moved its way up to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the US this past week, marking the artist’s first appearance on the chart’s top spot.
