15 SEPTEMBER 2014 (Toronto, ON) – Today, Kiesza announces her debut album, Sound of a Woman for October 21 release via Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company. The Sound of a Woman iTunes global preorder will be available from September 22 and will unlock a brand new song for fans. Kiesza’s hit single “Hideaway” rocketed to the #1 spot in the UK charts earlier this spring and remains the fastest-selling debut of the year. “Hideaway” is platinum in Canada and the UK and has snagged the #1 spot in 21 countries on iTunes. Kiesza’s one-take throwback video for “Hideaway” has captured over 108 million viewers to-date. Additionally, “Hideaway” spent eight weeks atop the Shazam charts in Canada. Kiesza is ranked #3 on the global Shazam charts and was selected to participate in their #FeaturedByShazam series this month with an intimate acoustic recording session of her new single "Giant in My Heart" and "Hideaway". Keisza is also currently working as an ambassador for Spotify Canada to give her fans access to the service before it officially launches in her home country.
