25 September 2017 (Toronto, ON) – Iconic Newfoundland singer-songwriter and best-selling author, actor and just announced Order of Canada recipient, Alan Doyle today announces that he will embark on a north American tour in 2018 to support his third solo album, A Week at The Warehouse, out October 13, 2017 via Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company. Pre-order A Week at The Warehouse now. The 50+ date “Come Out With Me Tour” will kick off on January 15 in Seattle, and the Canadian leg will begin on February 20 in Peterborough and finish on May 5 in Halifax.

Canadian folk duo Fortunate Ones will open up for Doyle on all Canadian dates, while singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Donovan Woods will support on select shows in the U.S. Pre-sale tickets will be available on Tuesday, September 26, and the public on-sale starts Friday, September 29. For the full list of tour dates and for more information, visit: alandoyle.ca.

A Week at The Warehouse was recorded live off the floor with Doyle’s band, with legendary producer Bob Rock at the helm. The album is chock-a-block with country-tinged, radio ready tunes that carry Doyle’s signature blend of traditional and modern flavours. Rock’s own band, Payola$, is celebrated with a cover of “Forever Light Will Shine” – which includes a guest vocal from none other than Paul Hyde. The album’s first single, the call to the campfire salvo “Summer Summer Night” was released in June of this year, and a second single will follow shortly.

This October 17, Doyle will also release the follow-up to his best-selling 2014 memoir, Where I Belong, with A Newfoundlander In Canada: Always Going Somewhere, Always Coming Home. Picking up approximately where the last concluded, this book tells of Doyle’s first explorations outside of Newfoundland, experiencing the breadth of Canada for the first time.
