03 APRIL 2020 (TORONTO, ON) - Directed by Kris Pearn and based on the book by Lois Lowry, Alessia Cara makes her acting debut as the lead voice of Jane in The Willoughby’s; releasing April 22^nd in 190+ countries worldwide. “I Choose”, the lead song from the film, was co-written and recorded by Alessia Cara. The movie also stars Will Forte, Maya Rudolph, Terry Crews, Martin Short, Jane Krakowski, Sean Cullen and Ricky Gervais. Convinced they’d be better off raising themselves, the Willoughby children hatch a sneaky plan to send their selfish parents on vacation. The siblings then embark on their own high-flying adventure to find the true meaning of family.
