22 SEPTEMBER 2023 (TORONTO, ON) - Today, California-based indie-pop band almost monday release their new single and visualizer, “coast to coast.”

almost monday -- Dawson Daugherty (vocals), Cole Clisby (guitar) and Luke Fabry (bass) -- continue to sonically capture the essence of life in SoCal with “coast to coast.” Beachy guitar riffs and laid-back drums bottle up the feeling of a mellow day on the coast on the new track complete with a visualizer showcasing the trio enjoying the ocean landscape. The band gave their fans an early preview of the track last month on their co-headline tour with Weathers. Their innate ability to craft sunny surf-rock staples further solidifies the band as the consummate purveyors of future-facing indie-pop.

In celebration of the new single, almost monday hosted their sold-out Endless Summer Pool Party last week at Hotel Ziggy in Los Angeles on, complete with a performance to their 500+ closest fans. The band also threw out the first pitch at a recent Padres game in their hometown of San Diego.

Continuing their festival streak this summer and racking up over 313 million streams to date and earning 1.2 million monthly Spotify listeners, almost monday performed WonderRoad Festival,Wonderstruck, Wonderbus Music & Arts Festival, and are slated to take the stage at Life Is Beautiful today in Las Vegas. On Sept 26th, they will join The Regrettes for a special performance at Lagunitas Brewing Company in Petaluma, CA.

Last month, almost monday concluded a co-headlining tour with Weathers, performing at venues including Bowery Ballroom in New York City and Lincoln Hall in Chicago, IL. This followed their 2023 “only wanna dance” headline tour concluding in March, spanning across North America and selling out venues in cities such as Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, and Salt Lake City.

“coast to coast” follows the release of almost monday’s additional 2023 singles, “life goes by” and “only wanna dance”.

After countless garage jams, D.I.Y. gigs in the back of a surf shop, and innumerable hours writing together, almost monday, first emerging in 2020, has racked up more than 313 million overall streams, uplifting audiences everywhere in the process. Originally from San Diego, the trio—Dawson Daugherty (vocals), Cole Clisby (guitar) and Luke Fabry (bass)—crafted their 2020 debut EP don’t say you’re ordinary with producers Mark Needham (The Killers, Fleetwood Mac) and Simon Oscroft (The Naked and Famous, DREAMERS). It ignited a string of buzzing anthems, beginning with “parking lot view” and “come on come on.” Meanwhile, the lead single “broken people,” and the Sofi Tukker remix, crystallized their sun-kissed style with a bold bass bounce and empowering refrain as it cracked the Top 20 at Alternative Radio. In 2023, almost monday remain the consummate purveyors of future-facing indie-pop and continued their live streak with performances at WonderRoad Festival, Wonderstruck Festival, WonderBus Festival, as well as Life is Beautiful in Las Vegas, NV today.
