The previously unannounced project serves as a stopgap between official albums for the artist. As fans anxiously await his next proper full-length, he decided to tide them over with this new body of work, marking the halfway point between records (hence the title ONEPOINTFIVE).

As usual though, he comes through with the same unpredictable and undeniable hooks, warped rhyme schemes, and brazen bars that transformed him into a multiplatinum sensation.

Every once in a while, an artist comes along and rewrites the entire rule book for a genre. That’s exactly what Aminé did with “Caroline” in 2016.
